Honda pulls the plug on its Clarity plug-in hybrid sedan
Honda is pulling the plug on its Clarity lineup, including the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) and hydrogen-powered Clarity Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV), at the end of the 2021 model year.
The third version, the Clarity Electric, was discontinued in 2020.
Honda also plans to close its factory in Sayama, Japan, where the Clarity is built. The plant also makes the Honda Legend, which was sold in Canada as the now-discontinued Acura RLX; and the Honda Odyssey for global markets.
